A distribution company is a organisation which is responsible for the distribution of your product to the audience, they are a vital part of any successful media product.We decided that we would create our own distribution company, but only after we researched some of the most well know distribution companies. The screenshot below shows the current majors, often dubbed as the big six, in companies. Qualifying to become a member of the big six means that they are a company which releases a substantial amount of films both consistently and annually that takes a significant amount of the box office revenues in the given market.
